You can be a great help producing our work whether you specialize in either Audio or Video Production, or want to do voice acting.
​Digital Animation Are you an amateur or professional animator? You can be a great help bringing to life some of the stories created by the GNE team. Creating educational material that is accessible and cross-cultural is challenging and fun. Give it a try!

Tech Team and UX Auditors Our GNE tech team are talented computer scientists who are expanding their talents in the non-profit world. Our Tech Team also needs UX Experts and Volunteers to help test for User Experience, so please consider volunteering for the Tech Team even if you are not so code savvy.

In-Person and Live Diabetes Coaching A “Sweet Talk / Conversación Dulce Coach will learn to coach people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes and their families. Topics surrounding nutrition, stress management, physical exercise and the use of medications are explored in a comfortable, inclusive environment.
Local Food Identification Do you have an interest in helping GNE in identifying some foods we might not know about because of our cultural limitations? Regional and local foods readily available or those that can be easily and legally foraged are of particular interest. ​ Knowledge of indigenous ingredients helps make videos and apps culturally relevant. ​ Contact: info@globalnutritionempowerment.org for more information.
Content Development GNE is developing content following the PEAR principles (Practical, Evidence-based, Accessible, Relevant) Current interests are: •Mental Health and Addiction •Increasing Diabetes Education range of foods (especially indigenous diets) and languages (especially indigenous languages). •Hypertension Volunteers need certified expertise and experience. Guidance and training are provided.
Translation and Context Adding languages and appropriate cultural context cues to GNE's Education Materials is a core goal. We want more relevant health education recieved by more people in more places. If you are able to speak and write languages other than English you have a valuable skill. Please consider spending about 10 hours to translate a script - you will help many people.
